Sleeping in a MushRoom – a cosy experience for two!
In May 2019, the Péitche Lauer Hotel and EcoLodges in Useldange opened its doors for the first time. Especially the three stilt houses, the so-called “MushRooms”, fit the bill for a cosy tête-â-tête with the river and the nature in the heart of this village, which is well-known for its beautiful medieval castle ruin.
The MushRooms are constructed out of wood from the local beech woods, which are typical for this region. The modern and comfortable furniture inside of these accommodations and the cute balconies round off a unique and relaxing overnight stay. In 2019, the three MushRooms were awarded the Luxembourgish Prize of Rural Tourism.
EcoLodges Péitche Lauer carries the EU Ecolabel and the Luxembourgish Bed & Bike label, and also offers storage for motorcycles. To visit Useldange Castle or get some information from the tourist office all you have to do is cross the street. Explore the surrounding area via enjoyable walks in the nearby forests or by using the cycle paths and hiking trails.
