“Rural Connections” ENRD Magazine introduces Slow Trips to its readers
The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) is the hub that connects rural development stakeholders throughout the European Union. Wolfgang Berger, LEADER manager of LAG Oststeirisches Kernland in Eastern Styria, Austria, published a project outline of Slow Trips in the ENRD’s “Rural Connections” European Development Magazine in spring/summer 2019.
The article highlights the project’s perspectives on socio-cultural tourism and slow travel experiences and its innovative and creative approach to tourism. It explains how a Transnational Cooperation (TNC) project is the best way to understand the common challenges, as well as the diverse solutions of each participating region. This kind of diversity is of great value for the tourism industry.
